A Rare Filipino (Moro) Comb Morion
18th/19th Century

Of brass and in European style, with heavy one-piece skull rising to a high comb, upturned brim pointed fore and aft with turned borders, copper and brass plume-holders at the rear, and the base of the skull with small dome-headed copper rivets each on a copper floret, the top of the comb and outer borders pierced with small holes for a liner
