Comprising a burgonet with two-piece skull rising to a turned and roped comb, tubular plume-holder at the rear, pointed integral peak with turned and roped border followed by a row of dome-headed rivets, a triple line border behind, and pierced for the adjustable nasal, the retaining bracket with punched and incised decoration, hinged cheek-pieces each pierced with a circular arrangement of holes and with three overlapping lames below, the lower ones with turned and roped borders, neck-guard of three lames en suite, 'almain' collar comprising mainplate and two neck-plates front and rear, bluntly-pointed front plate hinged on the left and with pin-catch on the right, the top plates each with bold turn, and with spaulders each of six overlapping lames, breast-plate drawn-out to a blunt point at the base, the upper edge prominently turned and roped above an incised inverted ogee-shaped border running down the centre of the plate, plain back-plate, single plate skirt with turned arch over the crotch, and knee-length tassets each of seven articulated upward-lapping lames, the ones at the crotch turned and roped, the lower ones with recessed turned and roped lower edges, and with domed rivets throughout (some surface rust and patination)
