The first of heavy form and rough from the hammer, with medial ridge drawn out to a blunt point above a short flange at the base, turned neck and arms, the former struck with initials 'A C' beneath, and retaining stud-catches for shoulder-straps; the second with two-piece skull, the brim pointed fore and aft and with turned and roped edges; the last of five plates riveted together, the main plate and skirt with characteristic fluting between incised lines, the latter with recessed turned and roped border, and separate waist-plate incised with double line ornament, retaining its leather waist belt and shoulder-straps (3)
