A Brescian Wheel-Lock Mechanism For A Pistol
Circa 1640

With shaped flat plate struck on the inside with maker's mark 'FG' in an oval, a fleur-de-lys above, chiselled foliate wheel-retaining bracket, sprung sliding pan-cover, and cock chiselled with foliage on the baluster arm
16.5 cm.
