Of russet iron, comprising a flat bar with integral screw thread at one end and chimney above the pan at the other, the right side incised 'A.M.L.E.. Collateral du Pape.' an obscured date beyond, large indicator wheel with decorative cuspings and numbered from '1' to '25' on one side, mounted on a vertical bracket secured by a bolt, one arm cusped and forming the pointer at the top, the wheel acting against a spring lever mounted between a bracket with ring-headed tension screw above
