The blade with one mekugi-ana, midare hamon with sunagashi, fully bound tsuka with shakudo fuchi-kashira decorated with birds in gold and shakudo, shakudo and gold bird menuki, and shakudo tsuba decorated with gold birds flying over a stream, in its aogai lacquered saya inlaid with numerous small birds in gold, copper and shakudo, gilt kurikata engraved with a bird, and shakudo kodzuka decorated with a bird in gold
