A Fine White-Metal Mounted Three-Way Powder-Flask For Percussion Pistols
By Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, Mid-19th Century

With body of slightly tapering flattened ovoidal section covered in black leather, the top with blued cut-off spring, adjustable nozzle and pivoting circular cover over the ball compartment stamped with maker's details, the base with pivoting cover over the gilt compartment for percussion caps and stamped with Dixon's marks for Britannia metal
7.7 cm.
