A German Two-Hand Processional Sword
Late 16th/Early 17th Century

With broad double-edged blade (some rust patination overall) of flattened diamond section, long ricasso with down pointed side-lugs, russet iron hilt comprising side-rings of diamond section and each enclosing a scrolled fleur-de-lys, downcurved quillons en suite and each with three scrolls at the tip, associated waisted pommel of hexagonal section, and bottle-shaped grip covered in leather (some surface loss)
