An English Broadsword
Circa 1600

With broad tapering blade (shortened) cut with two slender fullers on each side of the forte indistinctly stamped with letters and incised with a mark beyond, iron hilt (rebuilt) of flattened bars comprising downcurved arms (replaced), recurved quillons (one replaced), oval side rings, knuckle-guard fitting into the disc-shaped pommel, the latter pierced with a hole, later brass button, and later leather-covered grip (pitting overall)
