The first with sharply tapering blade of flattened hexagonal section, the forte etched with foliage on each side centred on a bright-cut panel, bright steel hilt (some surface patination) comprising ovoidal shell-guard with cusped upper border, and faceted ovoidal pommel and grip, in its vellum-covered scabbard with linear engraved steel mounts and two suspension rings; the second with colichemarde blade etched with foliage inhabited by birds on each side of the forte, characteristic hilt, and grip bound with two thicknesses of twisted hair (one Turk's head missing); the last of similar form, with sharply tapering blade of hollow triangular section, and grip bound with twisted hair between Turk's heads, in a leather-covered scabbard (the last two with some rust patination and pitting) (3)
