With tapering double-edged blade (some light pitting) of slightly hollowed flattened diamond section, the forte on each side with latten-inlaid anchor-shaped mark, hilt finely stippled overall and comprising strongly arched flat quillons with rounded ends chiselled and gilt with acanthus and with button terminals, side-ring with central ovoidal panel en suite and filled with a gilt plate pierced and chased with linked C-scrolls, pommel chiselled with gilt acanthus and with flattened button, and tapering grip bound with twisted gilt wire forming a diamond pattern between gilt 'Turk's heads' each pierced and chased with an inner border of fleur-de-lys
