Carved of a variety of gemstone materials most of which are native to Russia: the face, feet and hands, carved of eosite quartz; the beard, of brown agate; the hat, of green jasper; the tunic, carved of nephrite; the trousers, of black obsidian; the boots, of red jasper. Mounted with 14K yellow gold and the circular porphyry jasper base bordered in silver. This is a unique object, created as an edition of one in 2005. Height 9 1/2in
