A Nubian pottery jar
Meroitic Period, circa 100 B.C.- 300 A.D.
Of spherical form, with short cylindrical neck, the shoulder decorated in red and black slip with a collar composed of two bands of linked discs and a further band of droplet motifs beneath, 21.5cm high
