A Norwegian 30-Bore Percussion 1843 Model Naval Pistol
No. 254, Dated 1845

With re-browned barrel (over some light pitting) dated, serial numbered and stamped with crowned 'K' of Kongsberg at the breech, and retained by a spring-held brass barrel tang at the muzzle carrying the fore-sight and also forming the ramrod-entry, tang with back-sight, back-action lock stamped with the same marks as the breech and with inspector's mark 'TL', figured full stock with characteristically angled butt, regulation brass mounts, and original steel ramrod
