With bright double-edged blade cut with three narrow fullers along each side becoming a double fuller at the point of flattened diamond section, steel hilt comprising shield-shaped side-guard, cross-guard with scrolled foliate terminals and vacant medallion on both sides between chiselled scrollwork, and small ovoidal pommel-cap all etched with symmetrical designs of strapwork and foliage, the last with threaded button, and swelling dark horn grip cut with petals and with integral compressed ovoidal pommel, in original wood-lined black leather scabbard with steel locket and chape etched en suite with the hilt and with deeply shaped inner borders, the former with belt-hook also etched en suite
