A pearl and diamond tiara/necklace and brooch/pendant, circa 1890
Designed as a graduated knifewire fringe of cushion-shaped, old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, with foliate motifs and pearl highlights, accompanied by a detachable rose-cut diamond chain and tiara frame, with an associated openwork cartouche brooch/pendant of foliate design, set throughout with cushion-shaped, old brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, cushion-shaped and old brilliant-cut diamonds approx. 3.10cts total, pearls untested, drop fitting deficient from brooch/pendant, later rhodium plating, necklace length 44.0cm, tiara inner diameter 12.50cm, brooch/pendant length 3.4cm, cased by Poile & Smith (3)
