With colichemarde blade (minor pitting and polished bright) of sharply tapering hollow triangular section, the forte on one side etched with the labelled figure of Camilus, flowering foliage above, and on the other with traces of a panel of strapwork between foliage, characteristic plain hilt including asymmetrical double shell-guard with raised borders, button struck with the silversmith's mark, and grip bound with twisted silver wire
