With sighted barrel retaining traces of original browning, rifled with three grooves and retained by two screw-held barrel bands, the bayonet-lug stamped '186' on the right towards the muzzle (back-sight incomplete), plain tang, signed border engraved flat lock, figured three-quarter stock, regulation brass mounts, sling loops, and steel ramrod, probably original (steel parts with some rust patination), Ordnance view and proof marks
