With broad single-edged blade with narrow fuller along the back for most of its length on each side, down bent quillons of tapering rectangular section each inlaid with a silver panel on one side engraved with a foliate scroll against a punched ground, quillon-block and pommel mount en suite, the latter made in one with the chamfered wheel pommel encircled by a punched silver line and set with a silver disc on one side decorated en suite with the quillons, bone grip-scales (old splits and rust staining) retained by two transverse pins each on a silver washer and with punched decoration including cross potents, and copper washer at the base (pitting overall)
