An Italian All-Steel Stiletto
Mid-17th Century, Probably Brescian

With sharply tapering blade of stiff triangular section with moulded ricasso, hilt with short up bent quillons each with monster-head terminal, and grip pierced and chiselled in the round as a kneeling monkey holding his ears and supporting a standing naked human figure on his head (russet overall)
