Four Decorative Polearms In 16th/17th Century Style
Late 19th Century

Each of cast iron and comprising a halberd, a partizan, a small roncone and a spontoon, each of characteristic form and etched along both sides, the first with scrolling foliage with grotesque head terminals; the second with a coat-of-arms in an oval, a helm above and against a ground of foliage; the third with symmetrical foliage involving a pair of beaked grotesques (one side with some pitting); and the last with a martial trophy and foliage, each on a socket of tapering circular section (4)
28 cm. to 50 cm.
