With tapering barrels (minor pitting) each chiselled in low relief at the breech with a standing figure in contemporary costume with plumed hat and playing a cornet against a punched ground retaining some gilding, tangs each covered by a silver plate grooved for sighting and nielloed with a trellised design of quatrefoils, flat bevelled locks with rollers (one cock retaining screw incomplete), heavy full stocks each with curved butt and bulbous pommel, decorated overall with raised nielloed foliate panels against finely punched grounds, muzzle-sleeves and trigger-guards en suite, the latter each with a martial trophy on the bow, gilt triggers, false ramrods, and retaining much of their original gilding (2)
