With curved single-edged blade of finely watered wootz steel, the forte on one side etched and gold-damascened with a double cartouche inscribed respectively with bladesmith's name 'Assadullah' and owner's name 'Baruh Abdullah' in nasta'liq, hilt comprising steel quillon-block damascened in brass with a pseudo inscription and foliage on each side, pointed langets, waisted quillons with button terminals, gold-damascened grip-straps, and associated steel pommel-cap (grips missing), in original wooden scabbard covered in leather (scuffed) with later silver locket, chape and suspension mounts; the second of curved double-edged finely watered wootz steel with prominent medial ridge on each side, in later wooden scabbard covered in blue velvet with bud-shaped bone terminal (2)
