The first with slightly hollowed single-edged blade (some pitting) with silver-inlaid stars along the back on each side, and silvered basal mount, in original wood-lined silver scabbard embossed and chased along each side with symmetrical designs of foliage involving trophies, chape with monster-head terminal, foliate loop for suspension, and retaining its pair of tweezers originally housed in the hilt (missing); the second with double-edged blade of flattened ovoidal section recessed and cut with a slender medial ridge along most of its length on each side to the slightly curved point of flattened diamond section, the forte on both sides with encrusted gold arabesques above chiselled arabesques en suite, the latter against stippled gold grounds (some gold and hilt missing), in original wooden scabbard entirely covered in silver finely embossed and chased along each side with flowering foliage within scrollwork, gilt throat mount, foliate suspension loop, and bud-shaped terminal (2)
