The first with curved double-edged blade of finely watered wootz steel with narrow medial ridge over its entire length on each side (hilt missing) and retaining its chased gold pommel-cap set with sapphires centred on a cabochon ruby, all within a border of small turquoise beads, in original leather-covered wooden scabbard tooled with arabesques, silver chape, and gold polychrome enamelled suspension loop; the second with curved double-edged blade of finely watered wootz steel with medial ridge along its entire length on each side, the forte on both sides chiselled with a cartouche containing the Basmalla in thuluth against traces of a gold ground, a smaller cartouche above with one of the ninety-nine names of God against a gold ground, in its wooden scabbard covered in velvet (plush worn off) with brass locket and chape each crudely embossed with foliage, the former with suspension loop on the inside (2)
