With browned twist rifled barrel signed between foliate scrollwork in front of the blued calibrated folding adjustable back-sight and engraved with scrolling foliage at the breech, the latter inscribed 'Terry's Patent 30 Bore' above the loading aperture, case-hardened bolt with foliate scroll engraved handle hinged against an adjustable blued spring, signed border engraved flat lock decorated with scrolling foliage, dolphin hammer and mounts en suite, the latter comprising butt-plate with hinged ovoidal butt-trap cover decorated with a tiger's head within a border of ropework, and trigger-guard, figured half-stock (minor bruising) with chequered grip and fore-end, the butt with silver oval engraved with the presentation inscription, horn fore-end cap, sling mounts, and retaining nearly all its original finish, Birmingham proof marks
