A Fine Colt Third Model Dragoon Percussion Revolver
No. 10746 For 1851

With blued sighted rounded barrel with New-York City address along the top flat at the blued breech, case-hardened cylinder with roll engraved Texas Ranger and Indian scene, and including 'Model U.S.M.R.' and Colt's Patent', each framed within foliage, case-hardened frame (some loss of finish along the right side), serial numbered rammer, silvered brass trigger-guard and back-strap, varnished figured rounded grips, matching numbers, apart from the barrel-wedge (no. 539), and most of its original finish
