A martially marked colt 1851 model Navy Percussion revolver
No. 63773 for 1856

With russet octagonal sighted barrel (wedge screw replaced) with New-York address, russet cylinder originally with roll engraved naval engagement scene and serial numbered 62909, russet frame stamped 'Colt's Patent' over 'U.S.' and the left side, rammer, brass trigger-guard and back-strap stamped 'M' and 'A' respectively, rounded grips, the left one with indistinct inspector's mark, and matching numbers apart from the cylinder
