A .36 Manhattan (Navy type) series V six-shot percussion revolver with rare barrel length
No. 4774, circa 1867-68

With octagonal sighted barrel (wedge missing) with maker's details and patent date along the top flat, cylinder, action (defective), frame (one screw and trigger missing), rammer (catch missing), brass trigger-guard and back-strap originally silvered, rounded grips (one chipped), and matching numbers (worn and russet overall)
