The first with octagonal sighted barrel stamped with crowned 'MG' mark on the right side, border engraved cylinder (some nipples damaged), scroll engraved rounded action (defective) and butt, the former with safety-stop, the latter stamped 'J.J. Herman D. Brévèté' (Neue Støckel 7588), ratchet rammer operated by a lever on the right, and figured rounded grips (one chipped), Liège proof; the second with rounded barrels numbered from '1' to '8' at the muzzles, foliate rounded action (defective) and butt, the latter engraved 'W.C. No. 31' along the back, figured rounded grips, and ring-trigger (both with some pitting) (2)
