With shortened russet barrel with sighting flat, plain tang, rounded russet lock (steel missing) stamped 'BG', a fleur-de-lys between, above an indistinct maker's name, moulded figured full stock (some damage and repairs) branded 'C.D.L.E' along one side of the fore-stock, regulation brass mounts comprising shaped border engraved side-plate, crowned vacant escutcheon, spurred pommel, and trigger-guard (finial broken and repaired, ramrod missing, worn overall), French proof marks
