Five Spanish Miquelet-Lock Mechanisms (patilla) For Longarms
All Late 18th/Early 19th Century, The First By Juan Cano, Dated Ao 1808

The first with signed and dated flat plate decorated overall with engraved foliage, gold-lined pan, and with roller on the heel of the cock; the second of bright steel and heavy construction, the cock and pan each with foliate engraved fence; the remainder each of plain russet steel, one with indistinct maker's stamp; together with a foliate engraved percussion lock of similar form for a longarm, and a plain percussion lock for a d.b. gun (some surface rust and light pitting) (7)
