A Meissen group of 'The Lover Discovered', second half 19th century

After the model of 1771 by J.J. Kaendler, the lady reclining on her bed holding a pastry and chocolate cup, with her husband peering over the end of the bed and Cupid hiding behind her, a table with chocolate pot, sugar and pastry to one side and a dog peering beneath the bed, 19.5cm wide, traces of crossed swords mark in blue, incised model number D.64 (minor chips)
