A rare New Hall teapot and cover and matching jug, and two other New Hall jugs, circa 1782-87

The teapot of globular shape with an angular foot, strap handle with backward-pointing thumbrest and a spout with a straight upper line, painted with puce and blue sprigs and a formal border of florets, 17cm high, the matching helmet jug with a 'clip' handle, 9.7cm high, the other two jugs of the same shape, painted with patterns 121 and 157, 9.5cm high (one foot chipped) (5)
