An exceptional Clichy baguier, circa 1850

The top set with a finely-placed arrangement of canes, the central purple and green pastry-mould canes encircled by two entwined quatrefoil garlands, one of green cogwheel canes, the other of pink-and-white 'Clichy Roses', the rim enclosing a blue, yellow and white twisted ribbon, on a knopped clear glass stem, the circular foot set with a further garland of pink and white roses alternating with green pastry-mould canes, the footrim with further twisted ribbon, 9.8cm high, 10.7cm diam at the top
