A St. Louis paperweight scent bottle and stopper, circa 1850

The bottle of obelisk form in clear glass engraved with spiralling foliage and enclosed by a trailed green glass serpent, the patterned millefiori paperweight base with four rows of canes set in clear glass and a central white stardust cane, the faceted stopper containing a lampwork flower in red and white with a blue bud, 18.3cm high, the paperweight base 6.7cm diam (2)
