A collection of twelve English glass apothecary bottles and phials, 17th and 18th century

Mostly plain cylindrical bottles ranging in size from 5.7cm to 14.7cm, many with characteristic iridescence caused by burial, together with an interesting 'Turlington Bottle' of fiddle shape moulded with the inscription 'By The Kings Royal Patent Granted To Rob't Turlington For His Invented Balsom of Life', the side inscribed with the name London, 6.5cm (some chips) (13)
