A screenplay of Blade Runner with crew jacket
Warner Bros., 1982. Xerographic manuscript, no writing credits (screenplay by Hampton Fancher and David Peoples), 133 pp, February 23, 1981, with many blue revision pages dated from March 3 to April 8 and pink revision pages dated March 9, many passages highlighted, "S. Galick" in pencil to p 35 and "Steve Galick" in pencil to p 39, "SP/EFX" in ink to p 130, housed in a red three-ring binder with a 24 pp shooting schedule, a 7 pp cast, staff and crew list, marked "Frazee" in pencil, with Terry Frazee's Blade Runner Inc. production business card, and a credits list. WITH: Black polyester jacket with black cotton lining at collar, waist, and cuffs, men's size small, with "Cloth Tattoo" maker's label sewn at collar, "Blade Runner" embroidered to back in silver lettering outlined in red within a silver box with silver Japanese characters below. Ridley Scott's science fiction epic Blade Runner stars Harrison Ford as Detective Deckard, a "Blade Runner" tracking down Replicants, rebellious androids passing for humans. This script draft varies from the final version, including having an alternate ending where Deckard's narration distinctly states that he knows he, too, is a Replicant. This script belonged to Special Floor Effects Supervisor Terry Frazee; many passages describing effects shots are highlighted, including Zhora's (Joanna Cassidy's) dramatic death scene, along with effects left unfilmed.
