A prop .45 pistol and gunbelt from Have Gun - Will Travel with series memorabilia

A Colt single-action Army prop pistol, no serial number, .45 caliber, 7 ½ in barrel marked "Model Single Action .45," replaced cylinder with plugged chambers, checkered hard rubber grips, marked "Japan" to bottom of grip, with black leather Buscadero rig, the holster with brass "Paladin" chess knight figure, and belt with twenty-five Remington .45 caliber cartridges. Barrel is plugged several inches in, belt and holster both stamped with maker's mark, "Arvo Ojala / Maker / Hollywood / Pat. Pend." Holster has "CBS" and "C4-14" scratched in. Together with a chess knight-shaped painted ceramic table model cigarette lighter, "Logan" painted to base; two commemorative Have Gun - Will Travel drinking glasses; a facsimile "Paladin" business card with facsimile Richard Boone autograph to verso; an unused "Paladin" business card decal; a candid Kodacolor photograph (5 x 7 in) depicting Richard Boone in costume with Logan Frazee and his wife, dated December, 1960, to verso; and 7 VHS tapes of Have Gun - Will Travel episodes. The hugely popular CBS western series Have Gun - Will Travel (1957-1963) starred Richard Boone as "Paladin," a gentleman mercenary. Paladin's trademark was a knight chess piece emblazoned on his gun belt and business cards. This is a production-used example of Paladin's trademark "Cavalry" Model .45 and his customized holster.
Provenance: estate of Logan Frazee.
Dimensions: pistol: 5 x 13 in; gunbelt: approximately 40 in; holster: 12 ½ in
