A Yul Brynner Ramses cape from The Ten Commandments
Paramount, 1956. A collarless wool cape with multicolored embroidered Egyptian peacock feather motif, inlaid with faux jewels and gold braid, with embroidered birds of prey to sides with faux jeweled eyes, gold silk lining, padded shoulders, and a snap closure at neck. Lacking studio tag but with stitching indicating its original site. The ornate, iconic cape worn by Yul Brynner as the Pharoah Ramses in Cecil B. DeMille's blockbuster biblical epic. Together with an 8 x 10 in publicity still of Brynner in the robe.
