Two Richard Sylbert set designs for Dick Tracy
Buena Vista, 1990. Comprising 2 production illustrations: Pen and watercolor on tracing paper, mounted on foam board; color Xerographic copy, mounted on foam board; both are matted. Two 1930s cityscapes by production designer Richard Sylbert; one is original, the other is a color photocopy of a Sylbert illustration depicting Dick Tracy (Warren Beatty) after he punches Steve the Tramp through a shack's wall. Richard Sylbert was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Production Design for Dick Tracy.
