A John Meredyth Lucas bound screenplay of Dark City
Paramount, 1950. Mimeographed manuscript, final white screenplay by John Meredyth Lucas, 139 pp, March 24, 1950, with various yellow and blue revision pages dated from April-May, 1950 and a 1 p cast list, bound in brown leather with title gilt to front cover and spine and "John Meredyth Lucas" gilt to cover, with fifteen 8 x 10 in photographs laid in to insert pages. The classic William Dieterle film noir Dark City starred Charlton Heston (in his film debut) and Lizabeth Scott and was John Meredyth Lucas' first feature film script.
