Tyrone Power's bound working script of Mister Roberts
Mimeographed manuscript, script by Thomas Heggen and Joshua Logan, 95 pp, March 3, 1948, heavily annotated throughout in pencil by Power, bound in ¼ blue calf leather stamped in gilt "Mister Roberts" to spine and "T.P." to cover.
While Henry Fonda was still starring in the hit Mr. Roberts on Broadway, Tyrone Power appeared as the lead in the London production. Starting in July, 1950, it ran for over five months at the Coliseum Theater. Power's many notes in the script include a thumbnail sketch of the stage layout on the verso of the title page.
