A group of Rudolph Valentino-owned items
Comprising a truncheon with wooden handle with brown leather covering and engraved silver metal top, with beaded silver metal strap; a humidor of East Indian design, with damaskeened Arabic, foliated design overlaid with gold, green velvet lining, and brass base; a small metal incense burner of East Indian design with handle and lid; and a canvas tablecloth with red velvet applique with gold braiding on an iridescent background. The truncheon is a "ravenka" similar to the one used by Valentino in The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1921). Valentino used the incense burner to heat his eyelash makeup for his films. Comes with five photographs of Valentino with the truncheon and one photograph of the tablecloth in Valentino's home.
