A Rudolph Valentino document granting George Ullman power of attorney
Legal document, April 27, 1924, New York City, signed ("Rudolph Valentino") in green ink, with notary public's stamp and signature ("Lillian D. Gray / Notary"), with Los Angeles County Records stamp finished in autograph, dated May 17, 1926, with note in ink: "Return to / Cinema Finance Corp. / 1120 Van Nuys Blvd / Los Angeles Calif." Rudolph Valentino was unskilled at business matters and turned over his financial concerns to his wife Natacha and his close friend and confidant, George Ullman. Valentino's biography, Dark Lover, states that Natacha was given power of attorney by Valentino, but this document clearly states Valentino gave it to Ullman, whom he eventually made executor of his estate.
