A signed photograph of Rudolph Valentino, inscribed "To my only Star"

Gelatin silver print, signed ("Rodolfo"), inscribed "To my only Star / Whose glorious splendor will / always brighten my darkest / hours while I wander by a lonely / sea, looking in vain for a place / of rest," and dated "-April 1919-" in white ink, matted and framed. This photograph was possibly signed to Valentino's first wife, actress Jean Acker, who married Valentino in November, 1919.
Overall: 14 x 16 in; within mat: 7 x 9 ¼ in
