A Cindy Williams bowling shirt from Laverne and Shirley
ABC 1976-1983. A pale lavender short-sleeved fitted blouse with 5 buttons down the front, a left-sided pocket on the bottom front, and a "Hot Shotz" beer mug applique on the back in colors of red, green, and orange, bearing an interior pink tag inscribed, "Nat Nast Creations." Laverne and Shirley was one of those rare television shows that was just as popular as its progenitor, Happy Days. The program was a sort of female "Odd Couple" which followed the wacky antics of two girls living in New York in the 1950s and '60s. Throughout the run of the series, Laverne and Shirley, played by Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams, often played on the bowling league of their workplace, the "Shotz Brewery." This shirt was worn by Cindy Williams in some of those episodes.
