A Bohemian part ruby stained goblet and cover, circa 1850-60

The spreading beaker-shaped bowl rising from an octagonal base and cut with broad flutes and viewing lenses, the principal panel engraved with a hunter and his dog stalking a dead deer in a forest, the clear glass ground delicately painted in ruby stain with foliate and rococo scrollwork, flower garlands, a grotesque mask and a band of vines, the domed cover with circular flower panels and shields and scrollwork in red stain, the underside of the fan-cut foot also heightened with red staining, 46.5cm high (2)
