A Bohemial ruby stained goblet, circa 1840-50

With a broad-fluted cylindrical bowl applied with a chamfered square panel engraved with a Turk on a galloping horse, turned to look behind and holding a small pistol pointed upwards, a single viewing lens on the reverse, on an eight-sided stem and spreading scalloped foot cut with diaper panels on the underside, 19.8cm high
