A Bohemian part ruby stained small goblet and cover, circa 1840-50

In the manner of Karl Pfohl, Steinschönau, the cup shaped bowl broad fluted and reserved with a rectangular panel engraved with a leaping horse, the reverse with panels of painted ruby scrollwork and a single viewing lens, the cover with radiating panels of similar painted scrollwork, the knopped and fluted stem and scalloped foot outlined with ruby lines, an additional border of ivy painted at the top rim, 30.5cm high (3)
